Obituary of Joseph Noel Carpenter

December 25, 1929 - July 19, 2023

It is with great sadness the family of the Late Joseph Noel Carpenter announce his passing on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre / Long Term Care, at the age of 93.  Joseph will be lovingly missed by Margaret (Dan), Brenda (Dave) and grandchildren:  Craig, Derek, Brandon and Lyndsay. 

Joseph was an honourable gentleman with a gentle soul.  He was born Glasglow, Scotland with humble beginnings. He served in the Army and was stationed in Egypt.  Upon his retirement from the army he met his beautiful wife Annabell, they shared 48 years of marriage and the love of a family.  Joseph was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 266, Ontario.  There he fulfilled the role as President for many years.  The legion was his life.  Joseph lived a life full of honour and dedication.  He will be forever missed by all who knew him.  

He is predeceased by his loving wife Annabell, sister Peggy , brother Frank and  his Parents. 

Cremation has taken place 

Funeral and burial will be at a later date in the province of Ontario where he will be laid to rest with his wife.

A Special 'Thank You' is extended to the Staff of Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre / LTC for the care Joseph received during his stay.
