Catherine Alley (nee Kendall)

St. David’s, NL

June 4^th, 1937 – July 1^st, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine Alley, announce her passing at the age of 86 years. Originally of Ramea, and longtime resident of St. David’s, she passed at Crosswinds Seniors Resort in Robinson’s, NL on July 1^st, 2023.

Leaving to mourn, daughters Eleanor (Gordon Quilty), Yvonne, Shirley (Brian Halbot), and son James (Ruby); grandchildren Tracy, Jill, Catherine, Blake, Garett, Lenore, Paul, Nikita, Dillon, Kendall, Daniel-Kane and Skyeler;  great-grandchildren Emma, Kaylen, Ayla, Emilie, Saydee, Beau, Autumn and Mila; brother in laws Theo Alley, William Tibbo; sister in laws Emma Hann, Geraldine Alley, Vera Alley.

Catherine was predeceased by her parents Mary and Henry Kendall; her husband Hugh Alley; brothers Victor, and Edgar Donald; sisters Juanita and Eleanor; grandson William and parents -in-law William and Martha Alley

The family would like to thank the staff at Crosswinds Seniors Resort and Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for the care and comfort provided during her time with them

Visitation will take place at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s, NL on Tuesday, July 4^th, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place at St. Michael’s and All Angels Church at 2pm on Wednesday July 5^th, 2023 with Reverend Norman Cutler officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in St. David’s, NL.

As expression of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
