Obituary of Laura Monica Plowman

June 5, 1949 - June 20, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Laura M. Plowman announce her passing on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre , Port Saunders, NL,  surrounded by her loving family.  She was formerly from Port au Choix where many a friend can recall her love of life and the outdoors.  She leaves to mourn her daughter Anita Northcott (Paul ) and Son Steven Plowman; grandchildren:  Jessica Northcott, Christopher Bromley, Zackery Styles, Kayley Dixson, Maci Finlay and great grandchildren; Sisters: Mary Schneider, Clara Patey, Yvonne Hayes, Paulette Gould and Janice Gould (Rick Cooper); brother John Gould as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends. Laura is predeceased by parents Charlotte and Leo Gould; stepfather Ralph Rumbolt; husband James Plowman; sister Darlene King; brothers:  Bruce, Raymond and  Leo Jr;  niece Paula; nephews Mike Patey, Bruce and Rick Schneider.                                                             

Cremation will take place.  No funeral service will be held as per her wishes.  A burial and prayers will take place at Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery, Port Saunders, at a later date.

Family would like to extend a sincere thank you of appreciation for all those who provided care and showed concern during this difficult time.
