It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Brown announce her passing on Thursday, February 11th, 2010 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 60 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband David; daughter Daphane; grandchildren: Tyler and Meghan; brothers: Steve, Albert, Henry, Earle, and Dale; sisters: Cecilia, Margaret, Ruth, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents Winnifred and Clarence; sister Dora and brother Bernard. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Anglican Church on Saturday, February 13th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Alzheimer Society.
