Please share a memory of Darry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Darry Dean Holley announce his unexpected passing on November 26, 2017 at his cabin in Upper Brook at the age of 47 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 27 years, Beverly (Pye); his children, Frankie (Trevor), Jonathan (Jessica) and Mason; grandchildren Brookelynn, Jacob, Brooklyn, Nikita and Bianca; his parents, Thomas and Joyce Holley; his in-laws, Stewart and Laura Pye; his brother, Glenn; his sisters, Minnie Slade (Bruce), Caroline Sampson (Victor) and Joy Penney (Edgar); as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jack and Lavinia Holley, and Paul and Iris Poole. Darry was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, picking berries or simply being in the woods. He was also a great story teller. His friends and family will remember his wonderful stories of past hunting trips and will certainly miss his story telling them about his last moose hunt on Sunday. Yes, he got his moose. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre Funeral Home in Goose Bay and are incomplete at this time.
