I remember Margaret and her sister, Mary, well from the many years they taught at All Hallows.
Although I never had the privilege of their instruction, they were a strong presence at the school and in the community. They were very ladylike, reserved yet friendly to all.
Although we bore the same last name, we were not related, Their brother, Peter, who worked at the NLC for many years, bore a strong resemblance to my grand father Sam Dicks and they lived close by on Station Road in Humbermouth.
The world is a better place for their contribution to it!
