Mom, I miss your bone crushing hugs when arriving at Deer Lake airport.
Arriving at your and dad's house Aug 2023 was one of the saddest. Arriving on a rainy August night to a dark empty house, that normally had at least you and dad there, was........a tough moment.
I wish I could have been around more.
Will miss you always. You will remain in our hearts.

You were such an amazing person, Nan , Joshua is lucky to be your grandson . We are so happy that we got to spend time with you last summer, especially Joshua. Even though it wasn’t long, your warm hugs and kisses will be felt forever. Spending just a short time with you has provided a long memory filled of love and laughter. It was amazing seeing your adoring smile as Joshua stole your book and promptly removed some pages.
It’s still hard to believe that you are not physical here with us.
You will always live in our hearts, we miss you dearly Nan.

Since hearing of my cousin June’s passing, I have been reminiscing about our growing up years in Glovertown.
As cousins we made many happy memories walking to & from school.
Fun times spent at Grammy Diamond’s beautiful garden & home.
Sharing in fun at the sawmill property in our area of town, I will always cherish our wonderful childhood memories .

A few years back when hearing Paul's parents were in town visiting, we just had to have them over. We had a great time over dinner and chatted well into the evening. It's as if we'd always known each other. The Barrett's were such wonderful guests that the next time they were in town, it was just a given they had to come for dinner again! Great memories, great time with great people.

I was very sad to read of June's Passing. She was a very pleasant person and always up
for a laugh at Bowling. I especially remember the time I drove the 6 of us to Deer Lake
to try out their "new up to date" facilities. She was so surprised & happy to be included
and promptly asked why she was asked to go and I replied "because you are such a
good sport, easy to rub shoulders with and I like you ! " She smiled her beautiful smile
and we all had a great day..covered all of what Deer Lake had to offer in shopping as well !
I delivered them all home safe & sound. She said she was sorry to see us leave Corner
Brook for Annapolis Valley and I was sad to leave the bowling friends too. That was 2007
and each year I see more of my friends pass away 7 since December 2022. I regret that
I will not be able to visit with you, PUD, but know I grieve the loss of June and willl always
remember the good times as you must too, my friend. Cherish your memories and your
children and grand kids.
May June have a blessed rest from illness in eternal peace.
