It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Fortune announce his passing on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Crosswinds Seniors Resort, at the age of 92 years.
William will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Mildred and his sons Darren (Audrey) and Ted (Kim). He leaves to mourn 7 grandchildren, Terry (Rebecca); Steven (Melissa); Scott; Michael (Rebecca); Hope (Chuck); Cameron and Danielle; and 5 great grandchildren; Brianna, Nevaeh, Malcolm, Blaire and Luke; his brother Gerald (Cora) and sister Marlene (George).
He was predeseased by his parents Sarah and Edward Fortune, his brother Leo; sisters Unis, Ethel, Galvina and Classie; nephews: Keith, Billy, Randy and niece Bernadine.
To honor William’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a church service will be held in late April. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
