Vera E. Humber August 9,1931 – February 23, 2018 Rocky Harbour It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera E. Humber announce her passing at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Orville (Wanda) of Rocky Hr, daughters; Marion (George) of Brandon, MB, Lillian (Mike) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Norma (Gordon) of Gander, brother; Ross Nicolle of Rocky Hr., sisters; Madge Payne of Rocky Hr., Rowena Caines of Ontario, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; large circle of relatives, friends and her special friends at the Deer Lake Manor. She was predeceased by her baby daughter Patsy, parents; Walter and Elizabeth Nicolle, brothers; Alex and Russell; sister-in-law Frances. A special thank you to the staff at Western Memorial Hospital and Deer Lake Manor for their care and support. Service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church with Reverend Kay Short officiating, interment to follow at the St. Matthew's Anglican Church cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, Feb. 24th from 7-9 pm and Sunday, Feb. 25th from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Rocky Harbour.
