Celestine Lavallee LeTemplier

March 03, 1937 - November 19, 2022

Blanc-Sablon, Quebec

It is with great sadness that the family of Celestine Lavallee LeTemplier announce her passing on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the CISSS de la Cote-Nord in Lourdes de Blanc Sablon at the age of 85 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 64 years, Cecil LeTemplier; her children: Larry (Elizabeth), Peggy (George), Rick (Blandine), Nicole (Jeannot), Janet, Gaston (Lorrie), Tim (Chantal), Dallas (Dina) and Theresa (Mark); 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews and remaining sisters-in-law.  She was predeceased by her parents Peter S. Lavallee and Winnifred Cabot; her siblings Maryann, Evelyn, Gerard, Cletus and Paul.

Celestine lived all of her life in Blanc-Sablon. The things most dearest to her was her faith in God and the love she had for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her extended family.  She has left us with many joyous memories that will be forever cherished by all who had the privilege to have known her.  As she would say to all of us at the end of a phone call, “goodbye and God bless”.

Funeral service will be held at St. Theresa Church in Blanc-Sablon on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
