June 12, 1932 – May 17, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Diamond announce her passing on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Wayne (Dulcie) Diamond; daughter Joy (Peter) Primmer; grandchildren: Sonya (Shayne) Power, Matthew Diamond, Philip Primmer and Jennie Rose (Marcel) Beaudet; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Dulcie Woodward; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George Diamond, parents Caleb and Rosanna Warren, brothers Whyman, Isaac, Ford and Harrison, sisters Jessie, Violet and Grace. Cremation has taken place, a private interment will be held at the Jehovah Witness Cemetery in Pasadena. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook. The memorial service will be in person, the family are requesting all in attendance please wear a face mask. A very special thank you to all the staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care for taking such good care of our mother over the past 10 years. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request donations may be made to Corner Brook Long Term Care or jw.org.
