It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Humphrey announce his passing on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Humphrey served in the Royal Canadian. Army Infantry (weapons), WWII. He also served as the Deputy District Govenor of the Lion's Club, a past chairman of the official board of the First United Church, as well as a. present member.
Leaving to mourn his loss with very fond and loving memories is his wife of 53 years Alice, (nee Samways), three sons; Tom Jr., Corner Brook, , Barry, Ottawa and Richard, Red Deer, seven grandchildren: David, Donald, Janice, Tommy Jr. (TC), Kendra, Cheyanne and Roderick; Anne Humphrey, Kathryn Humphrey and Sharon Chaulk as well as relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by two brothers; James and Robert, and his sister Jennie.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Horne, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday, 2~4 and 7~9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, at 10:30 a.m.. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. John Adams officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the First United Church Restoration Fund.
