ALPHONSUS THOMAS “BUD” QUIGLEY January 9th, 1942 - September 5th, 2009 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alphonsus Thomas “Bud” Quigley announce his sudden passing on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at his residence, Corner Brook at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his parents Timothy and Dorothy Quigley. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters and brothers: Patricia (Jim) Myrden, Betty “Bette” (Gerald) Cooke, Pauline Myrden, Jean (Peter) Daniels, Michael (Barbara), Tim (Georgina), Bill (Gen), Barbara (Rich) Williams, Maureen (Tom) Brockway, Maxine Quigley and Sheila Quigley (Les); 26 nieces and nephews, 28 great-nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9th at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart Parish, Curling with Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Curling. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetic Association, the Crohns and Colitis Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
