It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Emma Knott on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Palliative Care Unit Corner Brook at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her husband William Knott, son Clary, parents Charles Moss and Fanny (nee Biggin) and step-mother Margaret (nee Bennett), brothers Harvey and Charles Jr., sister Doris and several other family members. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Lisa; daughter-in-law Theresa; grandchildren: Sarah, Heather, Karen and Bradley; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Edith Moss, Hazel Hamlyn, Judy Sparkes and Ann Moss; sisters-in-law: Genevieve Moss and Juanita Hancock; brothers: Angus and Reg (Mary); brother-in-law John Gilbert and very special friend Calvin Roberts; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was born in Daniel’s Harbour on December 27, 1922 eldest of her family. She dearly loved her children and was a big sports fan and also a big fan of George Jones. Special thanks to her home care workers and staff at the Palliative Care Unit. Her wish is to be cremated and have her son buried with her by her husband’s side.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 2:pm from All Saints Anglican church, Clarence Street with Reverend Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
