Obituary of George Atkins

It is with heavy hearts the famiy announce the passing of George "Bud" Atkins on Monday. December 27, 2021 at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 75 years. 

He leaves to mourn with fond memories his Son Otto (Denise), his two Grandsons,Nicholas and Nathan.  Sisters: Gloria, his twin sister Beatrice, Jacqueline, Juanita, Cynthia (Tom), Sharon (Sten).  Brothers: Edgar (Joan), Felix (Bev), Myles (Vange), Lowell (Margaret).

Predeceased by: Wives Maureen and Jean, Parents Kathleen and Fred,  Sisters Mary and Flora,  Brother-in-Laws Calvin, Chesley and Gerald.

Forever Remembered. 

Visitation Place: St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix, NL. Visitation Times: Family Viewing- Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from 7pm-9pm.   Wednesday, Dec.  29, 2021 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. and Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 from 10am-12pm.                               

Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 2pm.   Father Raj Officiating.  Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery Sandy Cove, Port Saunders, NL.                                                                              

Covid guidelines for faith based option are to be followed:  Masks are to be worn at all times, Physical distancing, Contact tracing and Hand sanitization. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated at this difficult  time.
