It is with great sadness that the family of the late William James Temple announce his passing on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Western Long Term Care in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Lavina (Bert) Martin and William (Eva) Temple; granddaughter Jennifer (Jeff); sister-in-law Sheila Temple; brothers: Charlie (Diane) Temple and Arthur (Thomasine) Temple; sister Florence Long; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce Temple, parents Roland and Winnifred Temple, brothers poor Charlie, Roland, Harvey, David and Mac, sisters Betty Temple and Bernie Hussey. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue to a maximum of 25 people at one time. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive with Majors Brian and Valerie Wheeler officiating. Vaccine Passports, ID and face masks required for both the visitation and funeral service. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
