It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emma “Hattie” Russell announce her passing on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sandra Dalley (Hardy), Lac la Biche, Alberta, Thelma Bennett, Calgary, Alberta and Calvin Russell, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Shawna and Tracy; great-grandchildren: Brittany and Darien; as well as other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Eric Russell. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Due to Covid-19 Government Regulations face masks and Vaccine Passports required for the visitation. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from 12-2:00 p.m. the funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with The Very Rev. Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
