It is with great sadness that the family of the late Golda Marie Rumbolt announce her passing on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. She leavers to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lou (Cindy) and Lisa (Darrell); grandchild Toni (Sebastian); great-grandchild Stella; brothers: Earl and Charlie; sister Christine (Calvin); sisters-in-law: Tess (Lance) and Sylvia; special friend Marina Dicks; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by the love of her life Leo. A special thank you to the staff at Mountview Estates and homecare workers Lisa Park and Mabel Dawe. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Due to Covid-19 Government regulations Masks and Vaccine Passports will be required for entry to the visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
