March 1, 1923 – October 18, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ida Winnifred McEachren announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL  on Monday, October 19, 2021 at the age of 98 years.

She leaves to mourn daughter Shannon (John) Alley. 

Grandchildren:  Trevor (Michelle) Alley, ON, Nathan (Francina) Alley, AB, Shawn (Bev) McEachren, Kenny McEachren, Chris (Gwen) McEachren, Sheldon McEachren, Bernadette McEachren, Denise (Terry) Gillis, all living in Ontario, Jason (Ruby) McEachren, BC.

Great-grandchildren:  Candace McEachren, Cassie McEachren, Holly Alley, (Andrew Caicco) Madison, Christopher, Teagan, Tommy, Joey, Hugh, Andrew, Julianna, Thomas, Michael, Victoria, Maras, Dominic, Andrew S.

Great-great-grandchildren:  Dominik, Ethan, Carter, as well as special nephew Floyd (Alma) Anderson and a large circle of family and friends.

She was predeceased by husband Alfred Raymond McEachren, sisters Drucilla Hulan, Joan Anderson, Bride Harvey, brother Richard Harvey, son Lionel (daughter-in-law Vivian).

Friends may visit St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Jeffrey’s, Wednesday, October 20, 2021,  2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M. from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Kris Gosse officiating.  Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Jeffrey’s.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made out to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church Memorial Fund.  Shannon and John would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support and the staff at the Crosswinds Seniors Resort for all that they have done.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL.
