It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Father James Walter Young at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn are his children: Clint (Karen), Ontario, Deidre, Corner Brook, Shane (Lisa) Saskatchewan, Blake, Corner Brook, Brett (Karen), Alberta, Troy (Robyn), Ontario and Mark, Ontario; grandchildren: Justin, Melissa, Meghan, Joey, Sara, Janice, Haleigh, Brandon, Jeremy, Terrilyn and Sabrina; 18 great-grandchildren; special great-niece Krista; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (nee Porter) and other family members. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery. We would like to thank the exceptional doctors, nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit, who went above and beyond with their compassion and kindness to the family and our dad.
