Obituary of Mary Jane Basha

Mary Jane Basha (nee Crocker)

Corner Brook, NL 

May 27, 1946 - July 8, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Jane Basha announce her passing on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sons: Tommy Basha (Susan) and Joey Basha; three grandchildren: Billy Basha, Nikki Velez (Richard) and Laura Basha; three great grandchildren: Chase, Owen and Tori, Sisters; Clarien Brake, Ilene Wight, Inez Kelly and Jean Crocker; Brothers Job(Clara) Crocker and Woodrow Crocker , and many  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Predeceased by husband Thomas, daughter Mary Ann Basha, Mother Ethel Jane and Father Walter Leonard Crocker; Sisters, Ruth, Olive McAuley and Mona McLean; Brothers, Richard Crocker and Albert Crocker;  Sisters-in-law, Romaine Crocker and Pansy Crocker;  Brothers-in-law,  Laurence Wight, Bertram McLean, John Kelly, Aubrey McAuley, Hughie Brake and Alvin Crocker; as well as nephews Richard Crocker and Albert Brake. 

A private family visitation, to a maximun of 20 people will be held Sunday, July 11th  from 7-9 PM, from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street followed by Interment on Monday, July 12th at 11 AM at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Fr. Jim Robertson officiating. Mask and social distancing required.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
