PITTMAN JAMES JOHN SOPS ARM NL December 30th 1928 … July 7th 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Pittman announce his passing on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 80. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Elsie, children: Leighton (Marilyn), Leonard (Beverly), Lila(William Budden), Maxine(David Ryan), Ricky (Daphne), 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, sisters: Virtue Tulk and Lucy Pittman, as well as a large circle on nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Winston and a number of step-brothers and sisters. Friends may visit the Anglican Church of the Transfiguration in Sops Arm on Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 2 PM with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
