It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Raymond Rose announce his passing on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Shawn (Bonnie), Gallants and Joan (John) Brophy, Howley; grandchildren: John (Jessica), Jamie (Robert), Shakira (Grey), Anissa (Mo) and Stacey (Brian); great-grandchildren: Alexis, Summer Rose, Sarah and Emma; brothers: Earl, Ronald (Verna); sisters: Brenda (John) Lily, Laura (Herman) Bartlett and Eleanor (Ed) Dawe); sister-in-law Cynthia Rose; brothers-in-law: Don Crann and Hans Kavli; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marina, parents Frank and Mary, brothers Alfred and David, sisters Elizabeth, Irene, Jean, Beulah and Rita. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Pastor Calvin Andrews and Pastor Jeremy Simms officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society.
