The Obituary of the late Germaine Rich
February 8, 1959 – June 19, 2021
It is with great sadness the family of the late Germaine Rich announce her passing on June 19, 2021, at The Labrador Health Centre at the age of 62 years. She will be sadly missed by her Children; Betty Nuk, Karen Rich, Merlin Rich, Francis Rich, Shirley Rich, and 18 Grandchildren and 7 Greatgrandchildren. Brothers; John Selma, Jack Selma. Sisters; Martha Penashue, Mary Selma as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her Parents; Philip Salma and Ann Philomena Salma-Nuna, Son; Ben Rich, Daughter; Tracy Rich, Brother; Basil Selma.
Due to COVID 19 regulations a private visitation will be held at Fillatres Funeral Home on June 21, 2021, from the hours of 7-9. Visitation will also be held at the residence of the late Germaine Rich Tuesday beginning at 4pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 23 at 2 pm from Our Lady of Snows with Fr. Joe officiating with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
