It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Joseph Carroll announce his passing on Sunday, June 7th, 2009 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 75 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gladys; children Clara (Lloyd) Mugford, Jim (Theresa), Cathy (Simon) Edwards, Denise (Milan) Rose; grandchildren: Cherie (Jamie), Ryan, Christie, Justin, JD, Madison, Joel, Tegan, Shasta and Summer; great-grandchildren: Onica and Damien; brothers: John and Pat; sisters: Maggie Cadigan, Mary Morey, Bride Hickey and Catherine Hickey, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and frinds. He was predeceased by parents James and Catherine Carroll; brothers Walter and Richard and sister Annie. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 11th at 3:00 p.m. from Our Lady Queen of Peace, interment following at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Daffodil Place.
