It is with great sadness that the family of the late Matilda Pardy announce her passing on Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 82 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Eugenia (Ikey), Louisa Elizabeth; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Simon Pardy. Friends vay visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Moravian Church. Interment will follow at the Moravian Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
