<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Gerard Burke announce his passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Center Port Saunders, after a lengthly illness, at the age of 56 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories two daughters: Melissa (Aaron) Hilton and Tanya Vokey (Andrew); son Aaron Lee; grandchildren: Dominic Hilton, Kaden Vokey, Tyler Hilton, Keliah Obeng, Kaylah Hilton and Lily-Pearle Vokey; fiance Selina Moores, and Joey, Sarah and Joshua Moores House; brothers: Frank (Cynthia), Patrick (Hilda) and Fenton; sisters: Linda Murphy, Mary (Marcell) Robert, Dulcie Wiggins, Annette (Cleo)) Rumbolt and Cathy Whalen; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.  He is predeceased by his parents James and Eva Burke and brother Baby Burke.</p> <p> A visitation will take place at St. Theresa's RC Church Port au Choix on Friday, March 24th, 7:00- 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 am officiated by Father Raj with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery Sandy Cove.</p> <p>Family and friends may leave messages of cololence or sign the guest book by visiting the web site at www.fillatre.ca.  Arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd.
