It is with great sadness that the family of the late Minnie Elliott announce her passing on March 5, 2013 at the Long Term Care Centre in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 86 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Whitfield (Lillian), Whyman (Linda), Lloyd (Maxine), and Walt (Yvonne), grandchildren, Lisa, Maylin, Renee and Darren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband James, parents Whitfield and Susie Diamond, brothers Hollis and Clayton and sister Joyce. Friends may visit Fillatres Funeral Home on Thursday March 7, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held on Friday March 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
